Tranquil Belize Wedding at Tranquility Bay Resort | Weddings Belize
I fell in love with Tranquility Bay Resort the first and only time I had been there so when I got hired by Emily to document her wedding at this peaceful resort, I immediately got excited and happy because I knew it would be something special. All weddings are special regardless of where they take place but Tranquility Bay Resort offers something very few other venues here in Belize can offer; peace of mind and seclusion. The resort is located 12 miles north of San Pedro and is located in the Bacalar Chico Marine Reserve. Yes, the reef is only a stone’s throw away from the beach.
But this is a Belize Wedding post so let’s go back to the amazing wedding of Emily & Jake. The day could not have been better even though it was heavily raining the days prior to the wedding. The beach was raked, the palms trimmed and the sky cleared for this special occasion.
Everything went as planned, a seamless photo shoot after the ceremony around the resort and we even got some extra excitement when the Caribbean Sea lured Emily and Jake to Trash the Dress.
After a few frames, Emily and Jake had an enjoyable dinner reception at the Aquarium, the resort’s restaurant and no, it’s not underwater but the picturesque walls give you the impression that you are 🙂
